UPDATE: December 15, 2017 – Craig identified our Aberdeen lineage.

Thanks to the research of Rondo BB Me in the book The Enigmatic Sinclairs with Gerald Sinclair, we now know the importance of Aberdeen to our medieval family. But their research showed a move of the royalty to Aberdeen during an English takeover of Edinburgh Castle. The two Sinclairs whose genealogy goes back to Aberdeenshire don’t seem to match any other Sinclairs closely, and we won’t know until they do deeper testing.
